I'm sat here, looking at the news and we have a young girl stabbed on her way to school... A campus shooting in Rotterdam, a Twat felling a national icon in the North East...
What is the common denominator? The perpetrators are all young.
How have we got to a point where the one that has pissed me off the most is a fuckwit cutting down a tree!

That was the clever bit of the Leave campaign, they managed to mobilise the peasant underclass purely by holding a beer and being openly xenophobic - worked a treat. They wouldn't vote normally but for your spiritual leader Nigel Farage they came out in droves. If anything it was the Remain folk that didn't come out and vote - they were too complacent that the British public surely wouldn't vote to be much poorer in the future, but underestimated just what a bunch of non thinking peasants a large proportion of this country are. But at least you all got what you wanted, enjoy it, it's going to be a few decades of fun yet.

vexty, the scum do not out number the non scum. We was told by remainers that the non scum didn't bother voting in numbers like they should of in the referendum which in itself is a bit scummy tbh.....lazy at best.....but do have a tantrum all the same....it's your right, just like the vote was.....but pleeeeeeease don't blame them.....stick with the scum element......as that is what's registered in history.

The beginning of the degradation of respect for one's elders/superiors in the UK was fairly closely contemporaneous with the UK voting to join what evolved into the EU.
Teenagers of the day "rebelled" in the 60s, but still held respect for their elders.
The Maastricht Treaty effectively wrote that disrespectful behaviour into the law of the land - only by then it was the law of the EU, not of the land.
Big, big fundamental difference between the people of the UK and people living in mainland Europe: people in the UK will do something until they are told they must stop. People in mainland Europe will not do something unless they are specifically told they can.
The two cultures have no common ground - one must die in a merger.

Vexed, if Brexit caused this level of "scumminess" how come it wasn't like that before we entered Europe?
I mean back in the day, if someone got murdered it was on the front pages of the newspapers and the lead story on the radio and television news, now, it barely makes the news

The fact is scum breeds scum. As a result the country is becoming scummier. Brexit is a rather good indicator of this, the first time scum has ever outnumbered the rest of us. Scum votes for scum, country deteriorates, less money to spend on public services, crime goes up. We are in a downward scum spiral. A lot of you are fucking scum too, you voted for this. How do you fix it though? It will take the level of sacrifice that your average scumbag wont even consider.
That should have stirred up the bottom of the pond enough now, off you go morons.

I agree with goose. A more appropriate and proportional punishment for that oaf would be for someone local to hear about what he did and vandalise his car or give him a little slap. All over quickly at very minimal expense to the tax payer, and then that's the end of it.

Firstly, what that poor kid went through was horrible and was a nightmare for his family.
Having some div using his death like that must be equally terrible.
However, i dont see how he has broken any law. Being a bit of a cunt isn't illegal.
The entire nation seems to pride itself on how offended it is at every little thing. Similar to the div with the Hillsborough thing on his shirt.

The guy who did it is a sick fucker and deserves the shit he is getting but is it prison worthy?
The only good thing that will come out of it for him is the lifetime ban from Sheffield Wednesday games, what they should have done is make him attend every game....a far better punishment.
